A pan-African foundation for inclusion through technology
Founded in 2022 from a shared conviction, EquiTech Health Foundation became a Cameroonian association in 2025, with a clear ambition: to put digital innovation at the service of vulnerable populations.
Preface
A word from the Founding President
“We do not build tools to impress. We build tools so that someone, somewhere, finally receives the care, education, or support they were waiting for.”
When I began, in 2022, thinking with a few engineer, researcher, and healthcare colleagues about what EquiTech Health Foundation could become, one simple question already guided every discussion: what is the point of innovation if it never reaches those who need it most?
As an engineer, I learned how much technology can transform a sector, speed up a diagnosis, bring care closer to a family that, until then, had been deprived of it. But I also saw, in the field, how often that same technology remains reserved for those who already have access to everything else.
This journey is only beginning. We chose to build a rigorous, transparent, and evolving governance, capable of growing with us — from Cameroon to the rest of the continent, and beyond.
— Founding President, EquiTech Health Foundation
